Power Physical Literacy
Join PISE Physical Literacy Leaders for a fun filled hour of movement exploration. Play, explore and learn new games while developing physical literacy. Please register for this FREE program thanks to funding from the Canadian Paralympic Committee. This program is for children who use manual chairs, walkers, strollers and power mobility chairs!

INTRAMURALS
Soccer Performance S & C
This program offers soccer specific strength and conditioning focused on targeting muscles and movement patterns required for increased performance and decreased chances for injury. Sprint, jump, and cutting technique will be major areas of focus as they tend to require the most time to develop effectively in young athletes. We will also focus on functional movement patterns to help develop effective neuromuscular patterning being reinforced in a controlled environment so they are instinctively put into play during game play and practice.

Active Development (Ages 4-10)
This program is open to children with any form of developmental disability (cognitive or physical) or illness. The program is designed to improve confidence and competence in movement skills and provide a safe place to play with peers. PISE leaders adapt activities to make sure that all children find success and have their individual needs met.
This program develops fundamental movement skills like running, wheeling, throwing, catching and balance. As well, it builds on the skills developed in early childhood in to more complex movement patterns and sport skills.
Siblings are welcome to enroll in the program too!

Fusion fitness is a mind-body class that provides the best of both worlds by integrating movements from Pilates and Yoga! Enhance your body awareness, posture, balance, flexibility, leg and arm strength and core stability using the best piece of fitness equipment available today… your body! Prior experience is not required.
PISE Super Cycle
Want a cardiovascular workout with a twist? Join Nichola for this energetic class that will rev you up, get the body sweating and get your core engaged. Take on a journey through high resistance hill climbs, sprints, and intervals that will make your heart pump while adding in core training into every workout! Challenge this class to benefit your body in more ways than one. If you would like to get the most out of an hour, this class may be your fix!
Bootcamp
Make fitness and an active lifestyle a priority! PISE’s Bootcamp classes are developed for people with a basic fitness foundation who are looking to get stronger, increase aerobic capacity and improve body composition in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment. PISE’s expert Strength and Conditioning Coaches will lead you through a progressive program to keep you challenged and motivated while teaching the correct techniques to keep you safe, healthy and confident. PISE’s Bootcamps will quickly turn into your fastest and favourite hour of the day! Ages 16+
Threshold Conditioning
Stuck in a rut with your cardio workouts? Using our brand new track, Stationary bikes, Assault Fitness® AirBikes, Rowing ergometers and more, this training program will improve your fitness by working at specific intensities around your anaerobic threshold. Our coach will teach you how to increase your ability to maintain progressively higher and higher intensity workloads.
Strength & Conditioning 50+
Strength training at any age is important to general well-being and health. Our coach will monitor intensity levels to keep them low while still working to help maintain bone density, improve balance, boost energy levels, elevate cognitive functioning, and alleviate discomforts. Join us to learn the proper techniques essential to feeling comfortable in a gym setting and have the confidence in your body to maintain your healthy, active lifestyle!
