Quality Physical Activity on Wheels!
Summer 2025 camps are here! Check out our offerings below. Registration opens March 12th at 7:00am online and 7:30am in person/phone.
Please note that we are not accepting waitlists this year, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!
If your child requires 1:1 Inclusion Support this summer, please register for an inclusion spot here and not our standard summer camps.
We offer 2 levels of cycling camps: Freewheelers and Coasters.
Freewheelers
Level: Green Circle
Our cycling camps will teach riders the basic skills, safety rules, and etiquette of riding a bike in the community! With a combination of games that develop all-round movement ability and bike skills, riders will explore the trails and outdoor spaces that surround PISE. Blending time on the bike with other activities and games will ensure a great camp experience for all young movers.
Please note that this camp is an introduction to bike skills and not suitable for advanced riders. Riders are expected to know how to balance and pedal on their own. Training wheels and balance bikes welcome.
Coasters
Level: Blue Square
This camp is suitable for confident riders who are developing and refining their bike skills. Riders must be on a two-wheel bike that has hand brakes and gears. Riders can straight line pedal, start and stop smoothly, take corners, and ride on varying terrain.
For all Cycling Camps, Campers will need to bring a bike, helmet, and lock to camp each day. If you do not have access to the following equipment please contact us at play@pise.ca to arrange alternative options.

This week-long camp is designed to introduce young children to the joy of cycling! In this camp we’ll mainly focus on getting the children comfortable on balance bikes and wearing helmets, and practice important skills such as stopping, riding, balancing, and gliding. We’ll also read some biking books and sing songs. Balance bikes help children to gain confidence, and improve their self esteem and risk management. This camp is designed for beginner and intermediate riders. Children are invited to bring their own balance bikes and helmets. If needed we can provide a bike and a helmet for the duration of the camp.
